Philip Hearsay 'Porthilly Circle' Copper Sculpture

Born in Co Louth, Ronan attended Galway Regional Technical College before transferring to the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. He graduated with a degree in Sculpture in 1982 and undertook further studies at the Yale School of Art Connecticut, obtaining an Honours M.F.A. in Sculpture. In the last few years he has embarked on a new range of work as a compliment to his main field of Sculpture. This work includes figurative works of Celtic origin called The Warriors and functional pieces of sculptural furniture
