Ros Harvey

Ros Harvey is a member of the Royal Ulster Academy and The Pastel Society of Ireland. Impressions from a Donegal childhood have enabled Ros to capture the vivid and rugged elements of the Inishowen landscape, and this has become an essential focus of her work. Ros has brought the primary elements earth, wind, fire and water into her compositions. Ros has taken a series of sketches from Dublin Zoo and transformed them into bronze sculptures of various animals, including polar bears. Ros has shown in the Royal Ulster Academy, Belfast, Royal Hibernian Academy, Dublin and the Royal Society of Marine Artists. She has been awarded the Guest’s Choice Prize in the John Laing Open Exhibition in the Mall Galleries London, the Derek Hill Prize in the Glebe Gallery, Donegal and the Kennedy Gallery Prize, Dublin. Ros has shown her work in Italy, Germany, France, The Netherlands, and the UK and USA.
